A very intimate show on a Sunday night at the Kelowna Community Theatre with Dashboard Confessional. It was refreshing to see a band roll through town that wasn't casino classic rock or country, though I wish Kelowna had better turnouts for these particular shows. I sometimes feel bad for the bands when they as lead singer Chris Carrabba said are "playing to a library crowd". I suppose that's why these types of acts aren't interested in adding a tour stop in this city. It's too bad as I for one would like more progressive music events in this market.
